I am a writer and gallerist

In my writing I concentrate on art, aesthetics and philosophy. In 2007 I completed the PGDip in Contemporary Art History at Goldsmith’s College in London. My first degree was in Fine Art at Middlesex University, way back in 1994.

I run the gallery CPU:798 in Beijing. We concentrate on photography and new media art from China and abroad.

I used to be a graphic and web designer

Up until August of 2006 I was a graphic and web designer at the Cambridge University Press, after which I worked in a freelance capacity.

I am married to Shi

I’m hosting the blog of my lovely wife, Shi. Shi is International Curator at Orient Arts Facility International and also writes about art and the art market, from a Chinese perspective.
